How To Make Your Product Visible | Social Media Marketing

 

If you want to grow your business, if you want to expand your product, if you want to increase your sales – I can almost guarantee you that in 90% of the cases, my answer will be: 

 

The Internet

You need to use social media, you need to use online marketing, you need to use SEO, you need to use native adverts, you need to use online marketing – as, almost, a cost of services.

So – you need to put it into the budget, you need to invest in it, you need to put that as your main driver, and the Internet is, really, the place where you can boost your sales. 

Either you’re running a coffee shop, you’re running a pub, you’re doing design work, or you’re an agency where you’re dealing with e-commerce – marketing your product online, making your product visible in SEO results or organic search results is the key. 

 

Put Yourself On The Map

If people don’t see your product, if your product is not available in those searches online, you will struggle to sell. And I get people asking me: “Hey, what do I do to get more clients to my coffee shop?” Well, have you added your coffee shop to Google Maps? Does it come up when people nearby are typing in “coffee shop”? If your product is not showing up, you’re missing out on clients. When people are searching online, you need to be visible! If you’re not visible, nobody will find you. 

Because that’s where people are. They’re searching on social media, they’re searching on Google, they’re looking into Google Maps or Apple maps to find their products and services. 

So think of it like being on the main street in a city, compared to being in a back street. If you’re on the main stream of the city, the more people will see you, the more people will pass you by. Whereas if you’re on a street with three people passing by a day, nobody will see you.

 

Google Yourself

It’s the exact same thing with search results. If people are typing, into YouTube, certain key phrases and you show up, the key phrases with the biggest search volumes where you show up, will give you the most traffic as long as you’re ranking. If you’re not visible at all for those keywords, for example, if I’m a wine producer and I’m typing in “wine” in my city and I don’t show up, or “wine shop,” I’m fucked. 

You really need to be visible in the search results for the keywords of your business. And that will generate sales. More sales than you can imagine.
