The purchased paper newspapers are dropping in sales – they don’t have the same power as before. The same thing with TV – viewers are actually sitting on their phones, sometimes with up to three devices for every commercial break.
SO it’s really critical to change the way you’re doing marketing; keep up with the times.
You also really need to know your metrics if you’re working in online marketing – they’re the game. If you don’t have control in your metrics you’ll be spending a lot of money on paying for adverts and marketing, without really knowing if it’s returning.
Let’s say you’re paying one or two hundred euros to get a new subscriber, and you’re only earning 50 euros, you’re at a loss actually – so you have to know your metrics – which means you have to have tracking.
So make sure to have tracking on your campaigns; and also remember that having different ads and having different creatives, changing the call to action button and text, can make a massive difference on your conversions.
SO, online marketing – you can Google a lot about it, you can read a lot about it, you can watch a lot of videos about it on YouTube; but every marketing channel has its pros and cons.
Typically, if you really want to be aggressive and have success, you need to utilize a mix of many marketing platforms at once. This will give you the best effect, where the public in the target area will be seeing your ads on different channels as they’re going and living through life.
