How To Quit The Job You Hate And Live A Happy Life

 

 

According to research, 85% of people hate their job. They don’t enjoy going to work and working their eight hours a day… Either because of the job itself, or, in many cases, they might have a terrible boss or manager.

 

Are you in this situation? If so, I’m here to tell you: Do not settle for it! Try to map out exactly what is holding you back from making that change. Because, quite frankly, you have two choices; and YOU are the only one who can make those choices…

 

Choice #1: Start looking for another job.

If you find another job that you enjoy, you’ll easily be able to remove yourself from that situation.

 

Choice #2: Find a way to quit your job and start your own business.

Get out of the “9 to 5” of working for someone else, and take that step into starting your own side hustle or business on the side.

 

It’ll definitely be a process of transition – because, of course, you need money to start and grow a business. So, typically, what people do is they maintain their job for a while – their 8 hours a day – in order to keep their cash flow coming in – to pay bills, and save some aside etc.; and then the start up their side hustle in the evenings and on weekends.

 

So, generally, that’s the key! You cannot simply accept being in a job doing, or hating, something for 8 whole hours – every single day. That’s a large portion of your life!

 

In order for you to be happy, there are two prerequisites that need to be fulfilled… Most problems that people have are related to their job or their relationship – either to their parents or to their partner. So, it’s really important that these two things are in check if you want to find real happiness.

 

Do You Know How Happy You Are?

 

And also, you need to measure your happiness! When was the last time you sat down, thought through everything, and gave yourself a happiness score between 1 to 10? 1 being miserable and depressed, and 10 being super happy, waking up with energy and ready to start your day.

 

You need to know your feelings. Most people don’t think or feel about these things enough. Whether it’s about emotional happiness or financial happiness, you have to know where you are and what your state is in order to change.
