You Need To Believe To Achieve | Break Your Mental Barriers

 

In 1954, athlete Roger Bannister BROKE the infamous “4-minute mile…”

Up until that point, throughout human history, NO ONE could run a mile in less than 4 minutes!

That’s because the BELIEF back then, was that the human heart wasn’t able to sustain a sub-4-minute mile. People were convinced that it would explode in their chest, and that you would die.

But the interesting thing was – Bannister would actually VISUALISE himself crossing that FINISH LINE. And in his MIND, he would SEE the clock, which read 3:59.

He KNEW that it had to happen IN HERE, BEFORE it could happen OUT THERE!

 

Shattering Global Beliefs

BUT, the other REALLY interesting thing is what happened AFTER that:

Nobody could run a sub-4-minute mile; all of a sudden one person does it – and what happens over the next few years?

Hundreds of people start running a sub-4-minute mile!

And that wasn’t due to major advancements in shoe technology, training methods, or nutritional supplements!

 

A Mind Shift

WHERE was the change?

Well it was a change in their BELIEF!

All of a sudden, when one broke that record, everybody knew that it could be done! And those mental barriers – those mental restrictions – were released and shattered, and people started believing that they too could achieve those magical goals!
